The power of Feelings.

Not all feelings are created equal.

Consumers have never had more access to facts. They are in a world drowning in facts, half-truths, features, and benefits. What people remember, talk about, and come back for is how you make them feel. Listening to, understanding feelings, validating and leveraging positive ones are an even greater strategic imperative.

By understanding the feelings behind behavior and teasing these feelings out the negatives and the positives, we can identify the right feeling to own and then to leverage that feeling and to address emotional needs and desires, create connections, and shift behaviors

Sure , the idea of emotion marketing and brand love has been around since 2016, but there are twenty core emotions and 3000 feelings. And not all feelings are created equal.  Figuring out what feeling your brand and competitors own and what messages and actions to elicit is critical to all interaction, whether it be between companies and employees or brands and consumers.
